Zappware delivers MHP applications to Telenet

Zappware NV, a leading developer of Interactive Television solutions, has recently delivered a number of MHP applications on Telenet's Interactive Television platform.

Hans Witdouck, Product Director Television of Telenet, states: "Last year, Telenet selected Zappware to develop the 'operator applications' for our interactive television platform. In the past months, Zappware has successfully implemented the 'Navigator' (the Telenet portal), an Electronic Program Guide and nVOD Guide applications. Recently, applications for TV-Mail and Chat have been added. The applications have been developed in DVB-MHP and are fully integrated in the 'Navigator' application."
Viewers on the Digital Television platform of Telenet now have the opportunity to access the portal with one key-press and enter the Program Guide, order movies, read and send mail and chat. In future, the portal will also give access to third party services such as Interactive Advertising, local government info or weather services.

It proves that Zappware, as one of the earliest adopters of the DVB-MHP technology, now has built up a profound expertise in all aspects of this platform.
