iView iDTV Suite launch at IBC 2007 (Amsterdam)

Zappware launches its iView integrated suite of iDTV services and management products on September 7, 2007.

Zappware - a Belgian one-stop solution provider for interactive digital television - releases its iView suite of iDTV services and management products at IBC 2007.

iView is an integrated suite of iDTV services for operators and broadcasters, and a production and management platform to manage those services and other services provided by third-parties. It is a platform-independent solution which works on a broad variety of middlewares and set-top boxes, including MHP, OpenTV and IPTV. iView iDTV Suite consists of the following components:

• iView for Operators. This is a a pre-integrated and modular series of compelling and revenue-generating iDTV services for operators. It comprises interactive services such as Electronic Program Guide (EPG), Video-on-Demand (VOD), Personal Video Recording (PVR), Network-Based Personal Video recording (nPVR), Personal TV, and Games.
• iView for Broadcasters. This is a series of attractive and revenue-generating services which allow broadcasters to easily create a digital teletext portal, interactive layers on top of entertainment programmes, and interactive direct-marketing layers on top of commercials or sponsored programmes.
• iView Platform. This is an integrated environment for the production and management of interactive DTV applications. It supports both the production and management of iView applications, as well as applications provided by third parties. iView Platform supports the management and editing of content, the management and authoring of applications, the management and editing of timelines, and the roll-out of interactive services on a variety of digital TV platforms.

Zappware's iView iDTV Suite is launched at IBC (the International Broadcasting Convention), Europe's largest and most important event for the media content business. At IBC 2007, Zappware will showcase the iView services on a variety of digital TV platforms, and will demonstrate the production and management capabilities of the iView platform.
