Zappware launches iDTV games portal 'Babalooza'

Integration of Zappware games in digital teletext of SBS broadcaster VT4.

From now on digital Telenet viewers watching SBS broadcaster VT4 can start playing iDTV games developed by Zappware, the Belgian one-stop solution provider for iDTV solutions.

Zappware brought the games together in a portal, dubbed 'Babalooza'. The viewer accesses the game portal through VT4's digital teletext. Pressing blue on the remote control opens up the portal with a series of compelling iDTV games such as Miner, Sharksweeper, Snowballs, Animal Memory, Bubbles, Bulls Eye and Planet Bloxx. Since the games are not free, a demo helps the viewer to choose. Viewers can opt for a day pass per game, a day pass for all the games or a three-days pass for all the games. Games addicts will be happy to hear that there will be regular updates with more iDTV games and more features.

The Babalooza games services are part of Zappware's 'iView for Broadcasters/Operators', an all-in solution for broadcasters/operators. Besides a complete range of interactive services, it comprises also a platform for the production and management of these services. 'iView Babalooza' supports various business models such as pay-per-play gaming, monthly subscriptions, and sponsored games.
