Danette commercial goes interactive with "Miss Danette Election 2008"

Zappware, the Belgian one-stop solution provider for iDTV, has developed an interactive layer including video-on-demand (VOD) for a TV commercial, on behalf of its client Isobar, the Aegis Media digital network label.

Danette, a product of the Danone brand, launches a new flavour in March 2008. A TV commercial from mid January 2008 till mid February 2008 invites the consumer to participate in the "Miss Danette Election 2008" and thus help to decide which flavour that should be. There are three nominees: Miss Danette Caramel, Miss Danette Pure Chocolate and Miss Danette Nougat. Digital Telenet viewers who press the red button during the linear TV commercial can watch video clips of the nominees introducing themselves to win the viewer's vote. Each vote is followed by a quiz to compete for a chance to win one of the three trips worth 4,000 EUR or one of the 250 MP3 players.
