Zappware collaborates with Nagravision on development of new NagraGuide On-demand Applications

Collaboration to provide pay-TV operators with accelerated delivery of VOD services

Zappware, the Belgium-based one-stop solution provider for iDTV on multiple TV-platforms, has been selected by Nagravision, a Kudelski Group company and the leading provider of content security and value-added service technology, to collaborate on the development of a custom suite of new NagraGuide On-demand applications used for video-on-demand (VOD) and VOD-related services. NagraGuide applications are part of complete end-to-end VOD solutions provided by Nagravision.

This suite of on-demand services includes VOD catalogue, catch-up TV, start-over TV and "à la carte" which Nagravision plans to deploy on set-top boxes running OpenTV middleware on cable and satellite hybrid platforms.
